Abstract Submissions
Abstract submissions are now CLOSED!
The US HUPO 2023 Conference Organizers will solicit submissions for research abstracts, which will be presented at the Hyatt Regency Portland in Portland, Oregon, March 10-13, 2024. The theme of the 2024 Conference is "Bridging ‘Omics to Function".
US HUPO will accept abstracts for oral and poster presentation consideration from Monday, September 18 – Friday, November 3, 2023 at Midnight Eastern Time.

The submitting author must be the same person who will present the abstract at the US HUPO 2024 Conference. A limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentations.

Abstract Submission Procedure
Please follow the steps below to submit an abstract for the US HUPO 2024 Conference. If you have questions or require assistance with your abstract submission, please contact the US HUPO Conference Organizers at USHUPO@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com.
The link to the abstract submission portal will be included in your conference registration confirmation message. Once you register, click the abstract submission portal link to create your log-in and password. Once you fill in your User Profile details, you will be able to begin the submission process. Record and file your password for future use. You must use the same email and password to log in to your account each time.
Once logged in, select “Click Here to Start”. Then follow the instructions on the submission site to complete your abstract submission.
Please follow these steps:
- Please select the Call for Abstracts Submission Type from the dropdown menu.
- Then select your desired presentation type. A dropdown menu with sub-topics will allow you to choose your poster and/or oral presentation sub-topic.

- Enter your abstract title in title case. (This Is a Sample of Title Case). Titles are limited to 150 characters.
- Enter the Abstract Content including purpose, methods, results, and conclusion. Abstract Content is limited to 300 words
- Review your abstract. Confirm all special characters are showing correctly and that the abstract did not exceed the 300-word limit.
- Enter details if you are a student or trainee or post-doctoral fellow and would like to be considered for a travel award.
- Fill in your Submitter Information.
- Enter presenting/submitting author information. Enter all authors’ information including the presenting author. Authors’ names will appear in the order they were entered on the submission site. The presenting author’s name will be underlined and their email address published in US HUPO Conference materials.
- Please do not enter information, such as author’s names, contact information or abstract titles in all capital letters. Capitalize letters only where necessary.
- Enter whether the work has been presented somewhere else or is original work.
- Specify if the abstract is based on research that tested a specific commercial product or accepted support for the project.
Click the “Submit Abstract” button to submit your abstract.
