Lightning Talks
Back by popular demand, Lightning Talk sessions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, immediately before the poster sessions.
Presentation Guidelines
-
Each presentation is strictly limited to 60 seconds.
-
The goal is to highlight your poster and encourage attendees to visit it—avoid presenting your entire study in this short talk.
-
Past presenters have used creative approaches to stand out, including dressing up, monologues, rapping, singing, playing instruments, or using props.
Slide Submission Requirements
-
Upload only ONE slide and must be created in PowerPoint (16:9 format).
-
If your slide contains video or animations, they must be set to auto-play. You will not be able to manually advance animations during your presentation.
-
Submissions with multiple slides or incorrect formats will be returned for editing.
Slide Upload
-
Please upload your PowerPoint slide using the link provided in your acceptance email.
-
You will receive a confirmation email once your slide has been successfully uploaded.
-
Contact USHUPO@conferencesolutionsinc.com if you encounter any issues with your submission.
Day-of Instructions
-
Arrive at the session room 15 minutes early and plan to stay for the entire session.
-
Session Chairs will call presenters in groups based on poster numbers (e.g., P01, P02, P03) to line up in order.
-
Staff will be on hand to verify and organize presenters correctly.
-
Important: If your presentation exceeds 60 seconds, the microphone will be turned off, music will start playing, and the session chairs will announce the next presenter.
